WYOMING SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

WYOMING CUTTING HORSE ASSOCIATION YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP

WCHA invites all graduating senior to apply for the WCHA Youth Scholarship.
The criteria are as follows:


1) The applicant must be a current NCHA and WCHA member.

2) The applicant must be a graduating senior with plans to attend secondary school.

3) Grade point average, scholastic achievement, extra curricular activities, and cutting achievements will be considered.

4) The scholarship committee may require an interview with the applicant.

5) The deadline for applicants is June 1.

Send a letter of application stating your plans for secondary school and your qualifications as outlined in #3 to:

Initiated in 2004, The Wyoming CHA established a Scholarship Program. It was our intention that youth who choose to extend their education past High School should be able to apply for consideration. This is open to any youth that is a paid up member in our affiliate.

Congratulations Rylee Whitman and Shae Bray! 

Rylee Whitman is from Big Piney, Wyoming and graduated from Wyoming Virtual Academy. She has been cutting ever since she was 10 years old but has known cutting her whole life. She has shown her horse in WCHA , CWCC, MCHA, and UCHA shows. She has also competed in the Wyoming high school rodeo cuttings , Western Nationals in Reno, Nevada, Denver, Colorado and Ogden, Utah and has shown in the Utah Futurity. Rylee is going to attend Steiner Institute of Esthetics in Salt Lake City, Utah where she will get her license to be a medical esthetician.
